Something new that I learned today was how to use the Google Drive and what it actually is and how it works. I also learned how to add to a google doc. I also learned the technology “blooms” ladder (SAMR). I will be using that as a reference often.

The one application that I could use with my second graders would be blogging kidblog.. I think that as 2^nd graders their writing skills would improve and their creative juices could flow if they are allowed to blog about whatever topic they felt was important or about a topic that I gave them for them week.

A possible lesson that could be infused with technology is a word study lesson. I could use the quizlet to create sight words, vocabulary words, or spelling words. The kids could use this app very easily to create their own study cards
