Reflection Day 2
I enjoy looking for new things to do with my students. I
have been interested in Project Based Learning for some time now. I found a
resource that gives me ideas on how to implement this into my classroom. I feel
a project based learning project will automatically infuse technology in all
aspects from research to presenting.

I loved the energy of Todd Nesloney. I went to youtube and
watched a few more of his videos. I learned that the students will be more
excited about learning if you do it in a flipped style classroom. I also
learned that initially it will be a lot of time to set up but once it is done,
you have it forever and are not having to recreate it every year.

ReplyDeleteI did one PBL a six weeks and my students loved them... for the weather lesson I had a friend dress up and act like he was a weather man and say that his news station was in need of a storm prediction, I felt kind of bad because students took it a little too literal and thought a hurricane was headed our way...
